Join in the fun and be part of the Northern Quilt Shop Hop from 12th to 26th May 2018.
During this fortnight each shop will be open Monday to Saturday (no Sunday opening) between 10.00am and 4.00pm (or longer if their regular hours are longer!) to make it convenient for you to hop around them all, collect your blocks and simply enjoy all the fun each shop has planned for you during this time. You can look forward to exhibitions, demonstrations, specials and much much more.
Get a group of your quilting friends together and make this a fun journey.
Registration fee $60.00 - for this you will receive sufficient fabric and instructions to make a quilt top (approx. 36” square), excluding borders and binding. Each shop will have their own requirements for finishing their design, and these will be an extra cost.
Each shop participating has designed a quilt and you simply choose your favourite to collect. At each shop you will pick up one block of your chosen design.
Participants need to buy their passport from the shop whose quilt they want to make.
All designs will be posted on the blog once they are completed and each shop will have photographs of all the designs for you to look at from early April.
If there is more than one design that catches your eye, you are more than welcome to purchase two passports (or more) and collect blocks for both designs!!
The only rule – you must personally visit each participating shop to collect your blocks.
Expressions of interest can be made to any of the participating shops, and once quilt designs are completed and passports ready to go, then you will be contacted to pay your registration fee and collect your passport.
Hand your full passport into the final shop you visit and go into a draw for a fabulous prize.
